Sadie and I went with a friend to a walk this morning to protest the Mandatory Spay and Neuter law that Dallas will likely be adopting. While this is a very serious issue, we managed to have fun :) Sadie did really well with all the new dogs and I was very proud of her. We took a lap around the building, then hung out with all her new friends and Lizzie too. There were a lot of people and a reporter for a newspaper showed up and took some notes.

Sadie, Lizzie and a doberman (wearing a pro-choice sign and carting a wagon)

This is an Irish Wolfhound that we met. The neat thing about this is that a few months ago I would have been scared at the sight of this huge dog. Today, I thought “What a handsome boy” and was excited to get to pet him.

Sadie and Lizzie took a break to play in the grass and spill their bowl of water. I love this shot because Sadie looks so evil! She’s a sweetie, really! Lizzie started it! :-P (She’s a sweetie too)

    Hey stranger. :)

Do you own both Sadie and Lizzie or is Lizzie your friends’ dog? Congratulations on the house, the rats, the dogs and well.. your growing family! :)

We adopted a dog too, a terrier mix named Hibiscus. She’s the lov eof my life and helped me lost 40 lbs. Wh00t! She’s soooo excitable. Very smart and well trained.. except when it comes to seeing other dogs. Then her ADHD “ohhhhhh my goddddd!!” kicks in and it’s hard to control her. Still working on that.

How old are they? Anyway.. I’ve become the crazy dog lady so… how are YOU??

Anyway, take it easy and glad to see things are all well. :)

    Hi Caryn!
Thanks for the comment! Lizzie is my friend Cait’s dog, she is the one who took the photos. Lizzie is a German Spitz, the breed that the American Eskimo (Sadie) comes from. She’s 5 months old now :)

Congrats on the weight loss! I knew you could do it :)
